Research-Informed Literacy Policy

I wrote the paper below on the following prompt:
"You have been asked to address a meeting of school administrators and community politicians on the subject of needed reforms of literacy curricula and instruction to meet Common Core mandates. Provide an overview of how your audience should view educational research as a source to inform such work. Address questions such as 'Does the research in literacy education have all the answers we need to revise our practices, and if not, why?'"
